Al's roofing completed shingling our house/garage 7.15.26 in Charles City, Iowa. It looks great!! They arrived when they told us they would. They worked hard, put in long, hot days and did a great job! They were respectful, friendly & very professional. When they were done they cleaned everything up and went over the approach and other areas with a magnet device to pick up any nails that had fallen. We highly recommend Al's Roofing if you want the best & not a fly by night roofer. Thank you! Ron & Marilyn Venz Testimonial written by Ron & Marilyn Venz on this site.

FAQ

How do I know if I need a roof repair or a full replacement?

If your roof has minor issues like a few missing shingles or small leaks, repairs may be enough. However, if you’re experiencing widespread damage, leaks in multiple areas, or your roof is nearing the end of its lifespan, a full replacement is often the best solution. Our team offers thorough inspections to give you the right recommendation.

Do you work with insurance companies for storm damage claims?

Yes! We have experience handling insurance claims for wind, hail, and storm damage. We’ll document the damage, work with your adjuster, and help make the process as smooth as possible.

How long does it take to install a new roof?

Most residential roofing projects can be completed in 1–3 days, depending on the size of the roof, the materials being used, and weather conditions. Larger or more complex projects may take a bit longer, but we always keep you updated on the timeline.

What types of roofing materials do you offer?

We install and repair a variety of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, flat rubber roofing, and metal sheet roofing. During your consultation, we’ll help you choose the material that best fits your budget, style, and long-term needs.

How often should I schedule a roof inspection?

We recommend at least one roof inspection per year, and always after major storms. Regular inspections help catch small issues early before they turn into costly repairs.
